The world's population is growing rapidly. Food production must be increased in order to meet their dietary needs, but this must come at a cost that is affordable to everyone. Agriculture was the main source of food for the population. All agricultural equipment is rarely modernized due to its low productivity. In India, farming is done by traditional means, in addition to the large-scale development of the industrial and service sectors compared to the agricultural sector. There will be a lot of field work in the agriculture sector, such as weeding, weeding, sowing, spraying, etc. Apart from this spraying operation, the farmers play a vital role in the agricultural process of protecting the crop. Traditionally, the spraying of pesticides and insecticides is carried out by farm workers carrying backpack sprayers that require more human effort. Attention is paid to these important problems and an attempt is made to develop equipment that will be of benefit to the farmer in spraying operations. As we know, there were different types of agricultural sprayers like backpa. Because there is a lot of solar energy available in nature. So we will use solar energy in agricultural sprayers with the help of solar panels. Farmers face the problem of large area coverage in a short period of time. In this project work, we will manufacture a multiple power supply of fertilizer sprayer. And this manufactured equipment will cover the maximum area during spraying.

Solid waste management is the major threat in these days. There are various sources in which the wastes are generated, among those the major role is played by the industries. The industries manufacture a product by giving so many by-products. These by-products are simply dumped in the land which causes pollution. So, it should be treated as well as reused in one form or another. One such by-product is the Ground granulated blast slag which is obtained from the blast furnaces used to make iron. The demand for the construction materials leads to the replacement of new materials in the concrete. Proposed idea is to use the ground granulated furnace slag in the concrete. An experimental investigation is conducted to study the properties of concrete containing the ground granulated blast slag as the replacement of the fine aggregate. The fine aggregate is the manufactured sand. The manufactured sand is widely used nowadays due to the demand and the cost of the river sand. The GGBS is replaced for the manufactured sand by 30%,35%,40% and 45%. Then the strength is obtained by carrying out compression, split tensile and the flexural tests. Then the optimization value of the GGBS is found as 30% and the effect of size of coarse aggregate is found out with the optimized value of GGBS. Then the durability tests are carried out for the acid action due to sulphate, chloride, etc., Finally, the results are discussed and the conclusions are obtained.

Comparative evaluation of effect of shielding gas using gas mixer and shielding gas alternator for GMAW of tube to tube joints
International Research Journal on Advanced Science Hub,
2020, Volume 2, Issue 7, Pages 139-149
DOI:
10.47392/irjash.2020.79
Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) with alternating shielding gases is a method wherein two different shielding gases are alternatingly supplied to the torch for effectively protecting the weld pool from the atmospheric contamination. The alternating supply of two different shielding gases to the arc in GMAW produces an effect similar to pulsed current GMAW but dynamically more superior. GMAW with alternating shielding gases of argon and CO2 has been tried for welding of carbon and alloy steel tube butt joints. The properties of weldments with alternate shielding gas and conventional supply of shielding gases with mixing units have been evaluated. The arc experiences switching from globular transfer to short-circuiting within the weld puddle due to alternating shielding gases. This causes stirring in the molten weld pool and positively affects the weld pool thereby minimising spatter and porosity during welding. The bead characteristics of welds deposited with gas mixer have been compared to the characteristics obtained by welding with alternate shielding gas supply. The alternating supply of shielding gas in GMAW is found to consume less argon thereby provide significant cost savings in shielding gas.

DOI:
10.47392/irjash.2020.80
This Power quality is one of the major concerns in the present power system environment. The situations like, voltage dip/sag, swells, harmonic content, etc. and their major effects on greatly susceptible loads are well known. To tackle these situations, custom power equipment are utilized. In this work, Proportional Integral (PI) control technique based Dynamic Voltage Restorer (DVR) is implemented in power distribution system to suppress voltage sag and swell under linear and non-linear load conditions. In conventional method, DVR is proposed to mitigate the voltage sag. But, presence of voltage swell may cause variation in output. In the proposed system, DVR with PI control technique is implemented which compensates both sag and swell. Using the program MATLAB 2014a, the design of the Superconducting Magnetic Energy Storage (SMES) module as a dc voltage source for minimizing voltage sag and improving the power efficiency of a DVR-based distribution system was presented. The simulation results show that the SMES-based DVR easily compensates both sag and swell and provides excellent voltage control in balanced and unbalanced situations.
Cultural Identity in Sustainable Architecture
International Research Journal on Advanced Science Hub,
2020, Volume 2, Issue 7, Pages 155-158
DOI:
10.47392/irjash.2020.81
A highly debateabletopicin architectural fraternity is the 'sustainable architecture' which has been addressed in many publications. Literature terminology applies to different types of such architecture: 1970s eco-design, 1980s green design, late 1980s and 1990s ecological design. This demonstrates the emergence of a construction-oriented architecture that prioritizes the natural environment until the mid-1990s. Sustainable architecture, on the other hand, as with all previous architecture approaches, can not only be considered a moral and architectural practice, but its contribution to social, cultural and economic infrastructure in the region. [1] UNESCO has coined "real life sustainability" to expand the overall concept of sustainable architecture from design to architecture incorporating local identity as part of the design process. [1] UNESCO coined the concept 'absolute sustainable life.'[2] Frampton aims to tackle local and contemporary global architectural culture at the same time as the notion of 'critical regionalism.' In his narrated essay, he stresses on value of sustainability in architecture as a cultural framework, not just a technique or process. [3] Culture defines a diverse concept that incorporates all intellectual activity of society. [4]Culture is; dynamic, exchanged, transformed into a new generation, expressed within the group and the person, interpreted in each community member. This includes laws, beliefs, principles, convictions and expectations. It transmits longevity and can improve the community's vitality. These are the assertion of "culture" in Matsumato's book "Psychology and Community."[5][6] The paper discusses about the sustainable cultural with architectural aspects. Part 1 discusses about eco-cultural architecture from various aspects of sustainable architecture. Next part 2 analyses world-class construction practices as eco-cultural reasoning practices, and part 3 discusses a case study of Turkey's sustainable solutions to local issues.
